The media in the USA and Israel reported that Washington has sent Iran a 15-point plan aimed at ending the war.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the plan calls for Iran to dismantle its three main nuclear sites, to end uranium enrichment, and to suspend its ballistic missile program. At the same time, it also calls for the suspension of the ballistic missile program, a reduction in support for affiliated groups, and the complete reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. In exchange, Iran would benefit from the lifting of sanctions related to its nuclear program and from US support for its civilian nuclear program.

The plan was transmitted through Pakistan, with the help of the Pakistani army chief, Marshal Syed Asim Munir, as a mediator, according to the New York Times. A one-month ceasefire is also being discussed to allow for negotiations (Israeli channel Channel 12).

Meanwhile, mediators from Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan are pressuring for a face-to-face meeting between the USA and Iran in Islamabad within 48 hours, according to sources.
