The United States Department of Defense has announced a partnership with xAI, the artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk, to implement the Grok chatbot in the Pentagon's government systems. The goal of this partnership is to improve sensitive workflows and support military operations through the use of advanced AI tools. The 'next-generation' capabilities of the Grok models will be integrated into the GenAI.mil platform, which will allow approximately 3 million military and civilian employees access to these tools starting in 2026.
