The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), supported by the USA and Israel, has decided to end its aid operations in the Palestinian territory, after nearly six months of activity.

GHF has already suspended its food distribution centers, citing the successful completion of its emergency mission, during which it delivered over 187 million meals. Criticism of GHF has been numerous, including accusations that it caused the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians during food distribution, largely due to Israeli gunfire.

The UN and other agencies have refused to cooperate with GHF, considering its system unethical and unsafe. Hamas welcomed the closure of GHF, demanding accountability for the damages caused. GHF has been accused of violating humanitarian principles, operating in militarized zones and causing a famine situation in Gaza.
