The electric revolution in China has surprised traditional rivals, such as the USA, Europe, and Japan, with BYD surpassing Tesla in revenue. By 2025, China became the largest exporter of cars, selling 31.4 million vehicles, 41% of which were electric. Government support and reduced costs have contributed to this growth. Analysts forecast that by 2030, China will produce 36 million vehicles annually, which will require Europe to adapt its legislation to remain competitive.
