American Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that an important announcement could be made on Sunday regarding an agreement with Iran that could officially end the war in the Middle East.

Rubio, who is visiting India, mentioned that this agreement would address U.S. concerns related to Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, a situation that arose with the conflict triggered by the United States and Israel on February 28. The agreement could pave the way for a world free of fears related to an Iranian nuclear weapon.

These statements come after President Donald Trump confirmed on his Truth Social platform that a proposal including the opening of the Strait of Hormuz has been negotiated on a large scale, involving the United States, Iran, and other countries.
