In the second quarter of 2025, Tesla shipped 384,122 cars, a 13.5% drop from the same period last year, below analyst estimates. Although sales fell, Tesla shares rose 7% before the stock market opened. The company had planned to launch a cheaper model, but production was delayed. Analysts predict a continued decline in sales in 2025, and Tesla will need to deliver more than a million vehicles in the second half of the year to return to growth.
