During the four-day national gaokao exam, the authorities and large Chinese companies such as ByteDance and Tencent have implemented strict measures to prevent cheating. These include freezing artificial intelligence functions and temporarily restricting apps. In addition, the authorities are using biometric checks, signal blocking and video surveillance to detect abnormal behavior.
