On Tuesday, investigators in New Mexico began searches at the Zorro ranch, owned by Jeffrey Epstein, as part of a reopened investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against girls and women on the property. The operation is part of an investigation announced by the New Mexico Department of Justice, targeting Epstein's illegal activities prior to his death in 2019.
Authorities are seeking information about crimes committed by Epstein and his associates. In February, they requested an unredacted version of a 2019 email that mentioned possible crimes related to the ranch. Epstein was arrested in 2019 for the sexual exploitation of minors and died in prison, and allegations against him persist, including testimonies from survivors.
