Ukraine's Security Service has arrested a Chinese father and son on suspicion of espionage in connection with the Neptune missiles, trying to smuggle secret documents out of the country.

The two Chinese nationals, a 24-year-old former student and his father, were arrested in Kiev while trying to illegally obtain information about the R-360 Neptune anti-ship cruise missile. The SBU said the son was unmasked as a spy and arrested in flagrante delicto. The secret documents targeted a missile system that helped destroy the Russian cruiser 'Moskva' in 2022. The two face up to 15 years in prison, and China has not condemned the Russian invasion but pleads for an end to the conflict.
