In an exchange between NATO officials and Russia, Mark Rutte ridiculed Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's statements, saying he has offered nothing relevant since taking office. Rutte stressed that although Lavrov predicts NATO's collapse, it is essential that the alliance continues to support Ukraine, given the constant threat from Russia. Lavrov has been foreign minister since 2004.
