Mikhail Tarasenko, a United Russia party MP, has died from a serious illness, but was found to have officially participated in 11 legislative votes on the same day. State Duma Chairman Viaceslav Volodin confirmed that Tarasenko was seriously ill before his death. His votes were apparently cast by colleagues who had access to his voting card.
