On Friday, Russia and Ukraine confirmed a new exchange of prisoners of war, part of a recent agreement that includes the release of captured fighters and the return of the bodies of dead soldiers. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski said most Ukrainian prisoners have been held by Russia for more than two years. The Russian defense ministry announced that the freed soldiers are now in Belarus. There have been several exchanges between the two countries since peace talks resumed.
