During the military parade on Victory Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the Russian army continues to advance in Ukraine, despite the support given to the enemy by the 'entire NATO bloc.' On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany, Putin emphasized that Russian soldiers follow the tradition of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. He declared that the common duty is to defend the interests and future of the Motherland, mentioning that the Red Army saved not only the Soviet Union but also Europe. Putin reaffirmed that loyalty to the country is a supreme principle and emphasized that the moral strength and unity of the Russian people are essential for success. In his speech, he honored the sacrifices made by soldiers and civilians during the war, reaffirming the belief that victory will always be on Russia's side.
