The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has ordered preparations for nuclear tests in response to statements from American President Donald Trump, who announced the resumption of nuclear tests in the USA. Putin has requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the special services to gather additional information and analyze the situation within the Security Council. Defense Minister Andrei Belousov emphasized that comments from the USA necessitate preparation for full nuclear tests. Trump's announcement has raised concerns about a possible proliferation of nuclear weapons between the two major powers, Russia and the USA, which together hold 87% of the global nuclear arsenal.
