The Vice President of Bulgaria, Iliana Iotova, declared on Tuesday that she will entrust the mandate to form the new government to the Progressive Bulgaria party, led by former president Rumen Radev, a party that obtained a clear victory in last month's parliamentary elections.

After the clear result of the election, the winning party receives the first opportunity to form a parliamentary majority and propose a new cabinet. President Rumen Radev will initiate negotiations with other political formations to secure the necessary support in Parliament, with the aim of forming a stable government.
