Poland's former interior minister Mariusz Kaminski and his deputy were sentenced to two years in prison for abuse of office.

The decision comes after President Andrzej Duda pardoned Kaminski in 2015, allowing him to become a minister, but the legality of the pardon has been questioned. The sentence could result in the two politicians losing their seats in parliament.
