Radosław Sikorski, the Polish Foreign Minister, stated that if Russian President Vladimir Putin were to fly over Poland for a meeting with Donald Trump, his plane could be required to land. This would be in accordance with a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, which allows for Putin's arrest for war crimes. Sikorski emphasized that an independent Polish court could order the government to ensure the plane's landing to hand Putin over to the court. Recently, Trump and Putin agreed to meet in Budapest, but the date has not been set. Additionally, most of Hungary's neighboring countries have suspended air traffic with Russia, but they might allow Putin's plane to pass through their airspace.
