Nintendo released the game 'Pokémon Pokopia' on March 5, and in just four months, it managed to sell 5 million units, thus becoming the second best-selling game for Switch 2, after 'Mario Kart World'.

The success of this title, which was not initially considered a blockbuster, has attracted the attention of investors, considering that popular games can boost sales of Nintendo consoles. Despite the excellent performance of the game, Nintendo is facing difficulties, selling 3.82 million Switch 2 consoles in the quarter ending in June, 34.4% less than the same period last year. The company announced new expansion packs for 'Pokémon Pokopia' to maintain player interest.

Although Nintendo's shares have dropped by over 16% since the beginning of the year, they have recovered 26% in the last month, amid expectations related to upcoming major games, including a remake of the classic 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time' and two new Pokémon titles scheduled for next year. These releases are essential for supporting sales of the Switch 2 console.
