The East-West oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia, known as Petroline, has become operational again after it was damaged following recent attacks, according to an announcement made on Sunday by the Saudi Ministry of Energy.

This pipeline is crucial for oil exports, especially in the context of the blockade imposed by Tehran on the Strait of Hormuz.

The ministry stated that the affected energy facilities have been repaired, thus improving the reliability of oil supply.

Information about the attacks has been confirmed by the Financial Times, which reported that Petroline was targeted by a major drone attack, despite a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
