A leader of a Palestinian armed group has confirmed collaboration with the Israeli army in operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Yasser Abu Shabab, the leader of an armed group that opposes Hamas, said in an interview that he cooperates with the Israeli army to carry out operations in the southern Gaza Strip. He says he moves freely in Israeli-controlled areas and informs the Israeli army in advance of his group's actions.
