Among those who recognize the Palestinian state are members of the 22-nation Arab Group of the United Nations, the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the 120-member Non-Participating Countries Movement. The UK and the US are among the countries that do not formally recognize the Palestinian state.
