The Trump administration has ordered work to halt on the $1.5 billion Revolution Wind offshore wind project, sending Orsted shares plunging as much as 18%. The project was 80% complete, and the decision has raised uncertainty about the future of the company, which was planning a DKK60bn capital increase. Orsted is also facing President Trump's skepticism about green projects and pressure from high interest rates, with its shares down nearly 90% since 2021.
