Sora, the video creation platform, has gone viral in the USA, but it has generated controversy by distributing clips featuring deceased celebrities and historical figures in offensive scenarios. OpenAI has announced that it will suspend the images of King and strengthen protective measures for historical figures.

Although it allows the use of images of other celebrities, the company has been criticized for its "trial and error" approach. AI ethics expert Olivia Gambelin stated that limiting the use of King's image is a step forward, but OpenAI should have acted sooner. The emergence of deepfakes has raised concerns about misinformation and abuse, and OpenAI has stated that the families of public figures should have control over their image. The company is working on improving protections against abusive use and is in dialogue with public figures to gather feedback.
