In December 2025, electric vehicles accounted for 97.6% of total sales, with a record of 179,549 registered vehicles. This increase was influenced by the change in VAT, which will reduce the exemption from January 1, 2026. Tesla dominates the Norwegian market, holding a share of 19.1%, while Chinese manufacturers have also increased, reaching 13.7% of the market. Norway continues to be an example for other countries regarding the adoption of electric vehicles.
