South Korea's central bank forecasts 3.1% growth in North Korea's GDP in 2023, the highest since 2016. This recovery comes after three years of contraction and amid economic sanctions. Trade with China accounted for 98.3% of North Korea's total trade, and industrial output has increased significantly.
