The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, was present on Wednesday at the Tel Aviv court for a new hearing in his corruption trial, in which he is accused of receiving luxury goods in exchange for political favors and attempting to obtain favorable coverage from the media. Netanyahu denies the allegations, claiming that he is the victim of a political conspiracy, and the trial has been postponed several times in the context of protests related to the judicial reform promoted by his government.
