At the meeting in Riga, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, the Chairman of NATO's Military Committee, expressed solidarity with allies whose airspace has been violated by Russian forces. He emphasized that the Alliance's response will be firm, considering the danger of these actions. Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics called for a clearer air defense mission in the Baltic regions. The meeting aims to implement the decisions from the NATO summit in The Hague.
