MET Group, a European energy company based in Switzerland, has finalized the acquisition of 100% of KGE, an underground natural gas storage operator in Gronau, Germany. KGE has a storage capacity of 179 million cubic meters and is connected to Trading Hub Europe. This transaction reinforces MET's commitment to invest in energy infrastructure in Germany, where it is already active through other storage facilities. CEO Benjamin Lakatos emphasized the importance of this acquisition to strengthen its market position.
