Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets in Colombia's major cities, demonstrating against the government led by President Gustavo Petro.

The protests brought together the right-wing opposition, centrist political forces, former liberal allies and numerous professional organizations and unaffiliated citizens. The protesters' main slogan was "Petro, out!". The reasons for discontent were health care reform, pensions, insecurity and the energy crisis.
