At a press conference, Lavrov stressed that any discussion on security guarantees for Ukraine that does not take into account Russia's position is utopian. He accused European leaders of trying to influence the US to support Ukraine without offering constructive solutions. Russia also rejects the presence of NATO troops in Ukraine, warning that this could escalate the conflict. Despite negotiations, Zelenski refuses to cede territory to Russia.
