During an official visit to North Korea, Sergei Lavrov praised Pyongyang's support in the fighting with the Ukrainian army, particularly in the Kursk region. Moscow and Pyongyang have stepped up military cooperation, with North Korea providing arms and troops. Lavrov said North Korean officials reaffirmed their unconditional support for Russia's goals in Ukraine. He also discussed restoring air and sea links between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of the strategic partnership.
