In an interview with NBC, Sergei Lavrov said the agenda for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky is not ready. Although Donald Trump has proposed a meeting to end the war in Ukraine, there is no set date. Lavrov said the US wants Ukraine to opt out of NATO membership, a proposal Zelensky has rejected. The Kremlin accepts a meeting in principle, but only in the final phase of negotiations, while positions remain irreconcilable. Zelenski has expressed willingness to talk despite a decree banning negotiations with Putin.
