Landslides triggered by torrential rains in Bogor district, West Java, have left three people dead and one missing. The incident occurred on Saturday and destroyed about eight houses. All the injured were taken to hospital for medical care. The missing person is believed to have been buried under the collapsed earth or taken by the landslide and carried into a nearby river. This is not the first time Sukabumi district has been hit by hydro-meteorological disasters, with deadly incidents also recorded last December.
