The Kremlin says Russia has developed an immunity to Western sanctions after the European Union announced its 18th sanctions package targeting the Russian oil industry. Spokesman Dmitry Peskov says the measures are unilateral and illegal, but Russia will review the package to minimize the effects. He also warned that sanctions also have a negative impact on the countries that impose them. Russian sources believe the new restrictions will not significantly affect oil trade.
