During an official visit to Cyprus, Jean-Noel Barrot called for a halt to the activities of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, saying the militarized distribution of aid had caused a "bloodbath" among civilians. It comes amid a report warning of a severe hunger crisis in Gaza, where malnutrition and child deaths from lack of food are on the rise. The UN estimates that more than 1,000 civilians have been killed by Israeli forces near distribution centers, and the IDF has admitted there have been incidents in which civilians have been harmed.
