Israel Katz stated that the destruction of Hamas's terrorist tunnels in the Gaza Strip represents a "great challenge" for the Israeli army. He instructed the armed forces to prepare for a mission, which will be carried out through an international mechanism led by the USA. The operation coincides with the process of releasing 48 hostages, and Hamas has a deadline of 72 hours to comply with the ceasefire agreement.
