Israel will step up its attacks on Syrian forces in Suwayda if they do not withdraw, protecting the Druze population.

Israel has warned of intensified strikes against Syrian government forces in the south of the country, particularly in the town of Suwayda, home to a majority Druze population. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz called for the withdrawal of Syrian forces and underlined Israel's commitment to protect the Druze. In recent days the Israeli army has already carried out attacks on Syrian vehicles involved in bloody clashes in the region.
