Iranian drone attack on a naval base in Abu Dhabi without casualties

The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates announced on Sunday that an attack with two Iranian drones on the Al Salam naval base in Abu Dhabi caused a fire in two containers, but there were no casualties. This incident comes in the context of repeated Iranian attacks in the Middle East, as retaliation for American and Israeli strikes, including the killing of the Iranian supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.

The naval base, which hosts French forces, currently has 900 deployed military personnel. France condemned the Iranian attacks, deeming them unjustified and expressed solidarity with the countries in the region affected by these attacks, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The French Foreign Minister emphasized that these countries are involved in a conflict they did not choose.
