Iran has intensified its attacks on Gulf states on Monday morning, particularly targeting Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.
In Bahrain, a drone attack injured 32 civilians, including children, and four of the victims are in serious condition. Additionally, in Kuwait, air defense systems intercepted hostile missiles and drones after the emirate had already been targeted by previous attacks. Loud explosions were also reported in Doha, where a missile was intercepted. In Saudi Arabia, the military managed to shoot down four drones aimed at an oil field.
In this context, the United States has decided to evacuate non-essential diplomatic personnel from the region, citing increased security risks. So far, Iranian airstrikes have resulted in 16 deaths, including eight civilians, and the Iranian president has warned that his country will retaliate if attacked.
