On Thursday, during a press conference held by American President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, a man suddenly collapsed, causing a disruption of the event. Identified as Gordon Findlay, executive director at Novo Nordisk, he was standing next to Trump's desk when he fell, while David Ricks, the CEO of Eli Lilly, was speaking about a drug price reduction agreement. Ricks stopped his speech, and several people in the room rushed to help Findlay. Trump turned to check on the man's condition, and the live broadcast was temporarily interrupted. After the incident, Trump stated that Findlay was "dizzy," but that he recovered quickly. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that the man is fine, and the press conference resumed later. Among those who helped Findlay was the well-known Dr. Mehmet Oz, director of the Medicaid public health program.
