Viktor Orban mentioned that he discussed this issue with the Hungarian company MOL, active in the oil and gas sector. This statement comes in the context in which, on Wednesday, the U.S. government imposed sanctions for the first time in the second term of President Donald Trump, targeting the major Russian companies Lukoil and Rosneft. Orban thus emphasizes the importance of finding alternative solutions to maintain trade relations with Russia in the energy sector.
