Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has announced that a Hungarian company will supply natural gas to Transnistria, after being approached by the Russian deputy prime minister in charge of energy. The announcement comes amid an energy crisis in Transnistria caused by the expiry of a transit agreement for Russian natural gas shipments through Ukraine.
