American actress Hilary Swank, 52, announced on Wednesday that she is pregnant with her third child. The baby is the first child of the actress and her husband, entrepreneur Philip Schneider, following the birth of twins Aya and Ohm in 2023.
Swank made the announcement in a video posted on Instagram. In the footage, the actress appears alongside her husband and their twins, all dancing in the dark with glow sticks attached to their bodies. Swank’s pregnant belly is also highlighted in the video by the glowing outline of a baby.
“Many people have asked me what project I will do next. This one will be released in December,” the actress wrote in the post’s caption, suggesting that the birth could take place in December.
Hilary Swank and Philip Schneider married in 2018. The actress became a mother for the first time at 48, when she gave birth to twins. She later spoke about the changes brought by motherhood and accepting the body’s transformations after pregnancy.
Swank is a two-time Academy Award winner for Best Actress, receiving the awards for her roles in “Boys Don’t Cry” and “Million Dollar Baby.” Her pregnancy is part of a trend observed in the United States, where the birth rate increased in 2025 among women aged 30 to 44.
