Jörg Kukies has warned that the tariffs announced by the US could lead to a drop of around 15% in German exports to the US, significantly increasing the risk of recession. The warning comes as the US has announced reciprocal tariffs for all countries, which would have a major impact on the German economy, given that the US is Germany's biggest export destination in the EU.
