The report highlights that attacks on cryptocurrency platforms generated $2.2 billion in 2024, up from $1.8 billion in 2023. The number of incidents also increased to 303, up from 282 in 2023. There was also a significant increase in attacks attributed to North Korean hackers, with the value of cryptocurrencies stolen by North Korean hackers reaching a record $1.3 billion in 2024 (61% of this year's total).
