Hugo Sotil, former FC Barcelona and Peruvian national team footballer, has died at the age of 75.

Nicknamed 'Cholo', Sotil was one of the greatest South American footballers of his generation. He won 62 caps for the Peruvian national team and was one of Barcelona's key players in the 70s. Sotil scored the decisive goal for Peru in the 1975 Copa America final.
