FedEx has announced that it will reimburse customers for the costs of imposed tariffs, in the event that the Trump administration provides a refund. The company stated that the process and timing of the refunds depend on future guidance from the government and the courts. FedEx has legally challenged the government, seeking a full refund of payments made under tariff policies deemed illegal by the Supreme Court. Although the February 20 ruling from the Court did not address refunds for businesses affected by the tariffs imposed last year, several companies, including Bausch + Lomb and Dyson, have filed similar lawsuits. The Liberty Justice Center, which represented some of the initial plaintiffs, has filed coordinated requests in the appropriate courts to establish a refund process, and a response from the government is expected on Friday.
