The incident occurred in the reactor area of the Sigachi Industries plant, which produces chemical compounds for various industries. Inspector General V. Satyanarayana confirmed that the fire had not been completely extinguished when rescue teams arrived. The company is investigating the circumstances of the blast, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office has announced financial support of 200,000 rupees for the families of the victims and 50,000 rupees for the injured.
