The ship's captain reported hearing the explosion on the port side and observed a vessel leaving the area. Fortunately, the crew is safe, and the incident did not lead to a fire outbreak. The UK Maritime Safety Agency UKTMO has advised caution for vessels in the Gulf region. The incident occurred more than 60 kilometers from the port of Mubarak al-Kabeer, outside Kuwait's territorial waters.
