At a meeting of the EU's Agriculture Council, five member states (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania) raised concerns about a new trade agreement with Ukraine, based on the DCFTA. EU agriculture commissioner Christophe Hansen underlined the importance of the talks and confirmed that the revision of the agreement, postponed because of the war in Ukraine, is in the interests of farmers. The five countries continue to demand changes to the drafts agreed with Ukraine.
